Mike will also introduce Tea Rozman Clark, who recently moved to Minnesota from Slovenia with her husband and two daughters.  Ms. Rozman Clark is completing her Ph.D. in oral history and working on a web-based story-telling project called “Green Card Voices.”

10:30 – 11:00    Kurentovanje Demonstration – Tea Rozman Clark will tell us about “Kurentovanje” – the Slovenian Mardi Gras celebration.  Ms. Rozman Clark will also demonstrate construction of kurent-style masks for children.  This demonstration will be part of our exhibit at this year’s Festival of Nations.  We will have materials at the April 20 meeting so you can make your own mask.
