We welcome Hank Thunander!  Has worked TV, radio, and played with Frank Yankovic and Myron Floren, and recorded with Frank Yankovic. Hank has had bands, while in the service entertained troops and awarded Army Commendation Medal, inducted into the Polka Hall of Fame, along with other musical awards.  Hank gave a history of polka music in America and played the different styles.  He played some of the European songs, Slak and Avsenik too.  Hank took requests for Slovenian songs, and we sang along. His fingers fly, but as he says “my fingers never left my wrist”! Will have a concert in Hastings Wednesday, November 19.
