The Twin Cities Slovenians are active participants in events locally and state wide, as well as host to our own. We take part in state and national conventions for the Slovenian Union of America, and help other branches from time to time.   • All Slavs Day

    All Slavs Day Celebration in Chisholm, MN In 2008 a few representatives from our group took our Festival of Nations Exhibit to Chisholm for All Slavs Day, a multi-cultural celebration. After the event the group went to the Slovenski Dom (Slovenian Home) to visit with each other. 

  • Picnics

    Annual Bishop Baraga Picnic Twin Cities Slovenians member Yul Yost has hosted an annual Bishop Baraga picnic. His uniqely landscaped yard is like a bit of Slovenia in Minnesota. 

  • Baraga Cross

    Pilgrimage to see the Bishop Baraga Cross in Duluth, MN In October of 2013 the Diocese of Duluth hosted the pilgrimage. Over the years, the Bishop Baraga Association has scheduled the Bishop Baraga Pilgrimage either in places that were significant in Baraga's ministry or in places where there is a significant number of people of Slovenian descent.
