John Zakelj will share photos and videos of his family’s shoemaking tradition in Ziri, Slovenia. His parents and grandparents were active in the development of shoemaking cooperatives which eventually formed the basis for today’s Alpina Company, known worldwide for quality boots and shoes, especially for downhill and cross-sountry skiing.
