Our May membership meeting will not be at our usual date and place. We will meet on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Applewood Room at Applewood Pointe New Brighton. (directions below).
Mike Koski will do announcements & reports plus announce & congratulate the Member of the Year. Then, Patrice Pakiz will demonstrate how to do her fancy cookie decorations with up to 10 volunteers participating. She will have cookies that will be part of the luncheon dessert. A survey on future program ideas & activities will be passed out for input by members for 2026 meeting presentations.
A short break will follow, before lunch & socialization. Lunch will include Richet soup – a hearty traditional Slovenian barley, vegetable & ham/pork soup, Kolbasa from Koshar’s in Gilbert, bread, salads, potica and beverages

The address is 1900 Rush Lake Trail New Brighton. Right off Old Cty Rd 8 and across from Beisswengers Hardware store, just west of intersection of 35W and 96. People can park in the lot in front of the main entrance. We will have someone at the front door to open it as it is a locked door. The Applewood Room is straight back from the entrance door
