Many of you have known about our participation in the Festival of Nations in the past. We had a Slovenian booth there from 2008 until COVID stopped it in 2019. We are excited to announce that our group, the Twin Cities Slovenians, will again have an exhibit booth at the newly resurfaced cultural event, now called the International Festival of Minnesota. Thank you to all the volunteers who have agreed to staff this booth. Come visit us and the rest of the Festival!

This festival will again be located at the St. Paul River Center, the same location as the previous Festival of Nations. They will have similar amenities, including cultural booths, international food court, stage with dancing and productions, bazaar, and demo areas. It will be a very good place for individuals and families to learn about multiple cultures that are represented in our great state of Minnesota. The Festival will be Friday April 10 and Saturday April 11, 2026 from 9AM to 9PM each day.
The overall theme this year is “Imagine IF….. We all Belonged. One festival. Many cultures. A shared home.”
For the Slovenian Booth, we have decided to focus on Slovenia’s relationship with environmental awareness, protection and shared love of nature and the outdoors. In that way, we as Minnesotans all belong together focusing on our environment which we love and support.
