The Twin Cities Slovenians will begin our 16th year of Slovenian language classes in October 2026, meeting once a month on Saturday mornings via Zoom. For those of you who have been in our classes before, our teacher Ksenija sends her sincere greetings and is looking forward to seeing you again this year.
For 2026 – 2027, we will pick up where we left off last year. You do not have to be a former student in our class but you should have at least a basic knowledge of Slovenian. We will not have a beginner’s class this year.
The enrollment deadline is October 1, 2026.
Enroll here or send e-mail to language@twincitiesslovenians.org
Classes will be Saturday mornings 9 am to noon Central time via Zoom on these dates:
October 3, 2026
October 31, 2026
November 21, 2026
December 19, 2026
January 2027 – TBD
February 13, 2027
March 13, 2027
April 10, 2027
May 2027 – TBD
Ksenija will join us via Zoom from Slovenia. You do not have to purchase a textbook – learning materials are provided for each class. Although the focus is on learning Slovenian, the class is informal and we have lots of fun learning about Slovenian culture and getting to know each other. Classes are not recorded and are not intended for people who are only interested in observing. Everyone is expected to participate, each according to their own ability.
The class is free if you are a donating member (at least $20 per year) of Twin Cities Slovenians.. Learn More https://twincitiesslovenians.org/membership/
In case our class doesn’t seem like the right fit for you, attached is a list of other options which you may want to consider.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!
